A Third Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, with a ribbed alloy grip and brass screw pommel, a 2 inch oval cross guard and a reduced length 15.3cm (6 inch) blade, no maker's marks, lacking the scabbard, overall length of the knife 27cm, S/D.
Condition report
The blade has been reduced in length by 2.5cm (1 inch). There are no maker's marks or stamps. There is no scabbard. Scratches and some light corrosion to the sides of the blade. Wear and numerous small dents to the grip and pommel.
