A first edition copy of George Bernard Shaw 'The Adventures of the Black Girl in search of her God', published by Constable & Company Limited, London, 1st edition, 1932, illustrated with wood engravings by John Farleigh, also The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayam illustrated by Edmund Dulac and a quantity of other miscellaneous books including Biggles novels.

Condition report
overall in good condition. Majority good, some worn and sun faded. Black Mischief - back of title page states 'first published October 1932, dust jacket has handling marks, worn at corners and edges of spine, tear to title on spine, very light foxing to first and last few pages, red and black marbled cloth boards in good condition, some light staining leeched from binding to margins. George Bernard Shaw - Black Girl In Search Of Her God - corners knocked but otherwise cover is good. Pencil inscription of owner's name to frontispiece, one or two specks of foxing to first and last few pages, all illustrations present. Foxing to edges of pages, stated first edition December 1932.
