A Chinese cinnabar lacquered box, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) / Republic period (1912-1949), the rectangular form box, deeply carved to the sides with meandering lotus tendrils, the upper removable cover with jardiniere brimming with lotus and chrysanthemum, unmarked, 6cm x 15cm x 10cm, S/D.

Condition report
Small restored break to the inner liner, this is not visible from the exterior when the cover is placed on top. Minor scuffing and wear to the underside.
