A 17th or 18th Century Persian safavid pottery lidded bowl, of tapered form with domed cover, painted with stiff lappet and Arabesque shaped panels filled with floral sprays, in underglazed blue, red and green enamels, diameter 12.5cm, height 12cm, A/F.

PROVENANCE - Part of a private collection. Extensively damaged and re-stuck back together with old stapled repairs, some pieces are not present, with further cracking and crazing to glazes.
