A pair of 19th Century Chinese blue and white moonflasks in the Kangxi style, each rising from a high oval footring, the central circular field painted with pavilions and verandas before a watery landscape, before a lotus tendril ground, unmarked, the body flanked by twin chilong handles, heights 37.5cm. (2)

Condition report
UPDATED CONDITION REPORT The moonflasks have not been restored at the rim, this has been extensively viewed under Ultraviolet light and there is no restoration. One of the Noticeable firing cracks to both of the moonflasks has been cracked at the body at one side, with small associated losses. (please see attached photographs) . The handles have extensive firing cracks, and one of the feet of the dragons has been poorly restored and overpainted. Scuffing and wear to the underside of the footrim of each, indicative of age.
