A Victorian walnut work or sewing table of tapered octagonal form, the hinged top enclosing a fitted interior above a turned support and acanthus carved tripod base, height 74cm and width of top 44cm, S/D.
Condition report
The lid has warped and there is some blistering to the veneer. There are five sections of beading that are detached from around the edge - four of these sections are present. The compartmental interior is loose and has come apart in places and there is some wear to the satin lining. The pedestal is a little loose.
