Lot 818: Sold for £75 hammer

Estimate £50-£80

An oak lowboy in the Georgian style, the plank top above a single frieze drawer fitted to the shaped apron above cabriole legs, height 65cm, width 66cm and depth 46cm, S/D.

Condition report
A gap has opened to the plank top and has warped slightly. Several burn marks to the top. Evidence of a gallery having been fixed to the rear of the back at some point. Some old worm damage to the legs. The drawer lining is hardboard and there is a replacement handle. Appears to have been re-constructed early 20th Century.
