A late 19th Century majolica shaped bread plate with the motto 'Where reason rules the appetite obeys' to the rim edge, the centre with moulded sheaves of corn, unmarked, length 34cm, S/D.
Condition report
There is an old hairline to the rim edge, really only visible from the underside. Crazed.
