A Chinese Republic Period (1912-1949) porcelain figure of Shakyamuni Buddha, eyes downcast, modelled in seated lotus position, hands cast in Dhyana Mudra (absolute balance of meditation), with gilt, iron red and green enamels, height 30cm, unmarked.

Condition report
Firing crack to the front section of the robe, approx. 3cm long. Minor wear and loss to the enamel and gilt. No further structural conditions.
