SIR JOSHUA REYNOLDS (1723-1792) AND STUDIO - Portrait of a lady, said to be Miss Morris, later Mrs. Lockwood, wearing a pink dress, half length, oil on canvas, framed, 76cm x 63cm, frame size 91cm x 79cm. <p> Provenance - Private collector. Martin Postle has confirmed the attribution of this work from photographs and suggests a date of 1759-1761.

Condition report
canvas has been cleaned and relined. Still retains a lot of the original varnish though under UV flesh tones have been filled and retouched, to right shoulder there is a filled and repainted hole. Some repainting of edges but overall good condition. Presented in a period carved and gilded frame
