An early 20th Century German Hertel Schwab bisque socket head doll, with naughty blue eyes, open mouth with two teeth, nostrils, blonde wig, head impressed Made in Germany 9S/11, on a five piece composition body with partially operative voice box, height 48cm.  NB - Eyes are 'flirty' when open. A weighted pin in the head allows the eyes to stay open when laid down when turned to the right hence 'naughty', and when the head is turned to the left they close.

Condition report
Head free from chips or cracks. Slight pin sized indentation to one cheek.
