A late 19th to early 20th Century mahogany writing desk by Edwards and Roberts, the upright section with a spindle turned gallery and fitted with six drawers, above a green leather inset writing surface and four drawers arranged around the kneehole, raised to tapered and reeded legs with applied porcelain castors, stamped to the inside of the drawer, height 98.5cm, width 122cm and depth 56cm, S/D.

Condition report
Has been repolished at some point and the green leather has been replaced. The shallow galleries are later additions to the two banks of drawers of the upright section. There is some splitting across the back of the upright section. The handles are all OK.
