Unknown - Soviet Union - Union of Soviet Socialist Republics - (USSR) - A large post war clear crystal glass dish form plaque cased to the reverse in ruby over clear crystal and cut with an image of a male worked striking his sword in to a block of stone, surrounded by sphere images and within a repeat pin wheel star border. NB - The image is taken from the Soviet Statue at the United Nations titled "Let Us Beat Our Swords into Ploughshares", a gift of the Soviet Union to the United Nations. The bronze statue, created by the Soviet sculptor Evgeniy Vuchetich, was installed in the north garden area of the United Nations in 1959, width 40cm, unmarked.
