Michael Boehm - Schott Zwiesel - A large post war glass TAMI vase of shouldered ovoid form with offset shallow neck, internally decorated with opal and cased in light olive, unmarked, retains original paper label, height 42cm.
NB - TAMI vase was mouth-blown using the over catch method. In this case three different colours of glass were used. The vase was initially made in clear glass, then white glass was run over the inside and a colour on the outside. The end result is to create a depth of colour that is especially highlighted if a light is placed within the vase or it is back lit.
