WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) - An early 20th Century circular pewter charger in the Art Nouveau style with a cast maiden to the centre with long flowing hair framed with a border of poppies and foliage, marked to the reverse 237A, diameter 51cm
This design appears in the 1906 catalogue described as an 'Old Silver' finish and costing 65/- each.
Condition report
Some deep scratches to the upper right hand border as you look at the photograph, also the bottom right hand side of the charger looks like it has had some repair undertaken as it a slightly different colour to the rest of the charger.
