A late 19th Century George Jones majolica sardine box and cover decorated in lavender with moulded blossom detail, the oblong cover with two sardines, unmarked, base diameter 21cm x 18cm.
Condition report
All over crazing and two firing lines to the underside of the lid, occurring from production. Free from chips, cracks and restoration. Some interior stained crazing.
