An early 19th Century coin goblet, the ovoid bowl engraved with an oval cartouche with monogram and floral spray opposing, the stem with a hollow knop containing a silver coin with date of 1677 above a solid section and circular spread foot, height 19cm.

Condition report
The glass is free from damage or restoration. The pontil is rough and unpolished. The central knop with the the coin inside is a dark grey to black as if during to manufacture there has been a reaction with the coin creating a smoked effect. The result is the coin cannot be seen and can only be heard rattling within.
