A 19th Century portrait daguerreotype photograph of a woman in a hinged moulded vulcanite frame, 5.5cm x 5cm when closed, together with another daguerreotype portrait of a gentleman, wearing a tam o' shanter and long coat, in hinged leather frame, 12.5cm x 9.5cm when closed, S/D. (2)
Condition report
The snap catch operates well on the vulcanite frame.
One of the catches is missing from the leather frame and there are some scuffs and scratches in places.
