Lot 431: Estimate £150-£200

An early 20th Century Thomas Webb & Sons clear crystal decanter of footed globe and shaft form, the body cut with a band of polished intaglio scrolled daisies over a planished effect ground rising to a strawberry diamond shoulder and slice cut knopped neck, all below a matched hollow blown stopper, height 36cm. N.B - This decanter was cut by the vendors grandfather who worked alongside the Kny Brothers at Thomas Webb & Sons.

Condition report
The stopper is a closed sealed unit but does have some slight clouding internally. This would have occoured in production rather than a later flaw. The decater is all in good order and free from damage or repair. The base shows minor age related wear and all the decoration is completely hand executed.
