A Japanese traditional 'Musician' doll, circa 1920, modelled as a standing musician, the pottery face hands and feet delicately painted and attached to a papier mache torso, and wearing silk attire, mounted on a wooden plinth base, height 30cm, S/D.

Condition report
Both feet have previously broken and repaired. Bow remains in the right hand of the figure, however the instrument is lacking from the left hand. Small areas of wear and paint loss to the head and face.
