GILBERT SPENCER, RA (1892-1979) - 'Portrait of Mary Morris', pencil drawing, signed and inscribed 'to Professor E. de Selincourt, Christmas, 1942', framed, 33cm x 23.5cm, frame size 57.5cm x 46cm.
NB - Professor Ernest de Selincourt was a literary scholar and editor of many works on the Wordsworths. He built the famous house Ladywood at Grasmere in the heart of the Lake District in 1904.
