Lot 969: Sold for £850 hammer

Estimate £200-£300

A George IV mahogany D-end dining table with cross-banded and line inlaid borders, complete with a central drop leaf Pembroke section, raised to square tapered legs with spade or peg feet, height 71.5cm, width 121cm and length when fully extended 430cm, S/D

Condition report
The central drop leaf Pembroke section is not in as good a condition as the rest of the table and may have been in use independently to account for this. The leaves are warped, there are losses of veneer to the borders, one of the hinges is loose and there are water marks to the top of the table. The two D-end sections each have a drop leaf. There is also some loss of veneer in places to the borders of these sections. Only four brass clips are present.
