A late 18th Century oak longcase clock with 30-hour movement striking on a bell, the hood with blind fretwork frieze enclosing a 10 inch brass dial with Roman numeral chapters, signed J.B. Addely, Albrighton, later alterations and repairs to the case, height 180cm, S/D.
Condition report
The hood has been re-constructed and the back boards have been replaced. The case has been reduced in height. The weight and pendulum are present. The dial appears original to the movement. The strike has been muffled.
