REMBRANDT VAN RIJN (1606-1669) -'Death Appearing to a Wedded Couple from an open grave', etching, signed and dated 1639 in the plate, framed, 10.5cm x 7.5cm, trimmed, frame size 30.5cm x 25cm.
Condition report
etching has been trimmed to remove plate mark. Laid down on card. Light staining from glue, paper yellowed. Light impression suggesting a later version. Mount discoloured, thin black finished glazed frame
