A late 19th to early 20th Century Vienna type hand painted pedestal vase and two section cover, the circular bowl decorated in the round with classical figures against a gilt ground, raised to three paw feet in royal blue with gilt detailing, all to a stepped base, the two section cover with conforming decoration, painted to the base Thytia veakundet Apollos Wahaspruche (Thytia proclaims Apollo's Prophecies) and Augustus schkefst der tariustempel (Augustus created the Temple of Taurus) alongside printed beehive mark, total height 44cm.

Condition report
There is some minor rubbing to the gilding, especially to the rim edge where the cover sits. Otherwise in good order.
