A pair of late 19th Century Carl Tielsch twin handled pedestal vases decorated with hand painted sprays of convolvulus and garlands of roses against a matt blue ground with patterned panels to the sides and pedestal foot, the moulded handles draped with gilt swags, printed mark for 1870-1900, height 36cm.
Condition report
Both have rubbing to the gilding most noticably to the handles, rim edge and the drop detail border near the foot. The black paint on the lower band has oxidised.
