Condition report
AMENDED CONDITION REPORT - Through discussions with other collectors it has been bought to our attention that the saucers may have all had repainting to the banding. On examination we believe the red and black to be original but possible repainting to the grey, if this is the case the decoration has been done to a very high standard and would not need reworking. Coffee pot - All in good order and free from damage or restoration. Milk Jug - All in good order and free from damage or restoration. There is a tiny pin head spot of enamel missing to the black and two tiny spots to the band of red on the rim. Sugar bowl - Free from damage or restoration, all in good order. Cup 1 - Free from damage or restoration, all in good order. Cup 2 - Free from damage or restoration, there is some very minor wear to the red enamel on the rim Cup 3 - Free from damage or restoration, there is some very minor wear to the red enamel on the rim Cup 4 - Free from damage or restoration there is some very minor wear to the red enamel on the rim Cup 5 - Free from damage or restoration - All in good order Cup 6 - Free from damage or restoration, all in good order. Saucers - One has a tiny pin head nibble to the very edge of the reverse, one has had the banding refreshed in the grey. No breaks, cracks or large chips. All pieces painted by the same hand in my opinion. Backstamps - One saucer is marked with the Fantasque mark, all other pieces are marked with the FANTASQUE and Bizarre mark. Some pieces also have the addition of the Gold Lawleys back stamp where space allows.
