Goebel - A 1940s/1950s novelty cruet set in the Art Deco style formed as a bell boy dressed in red holding two suitcases with Carlton painted on his hat, printed mark, height 13cm, together with a 1930s Goebel modelled of a girl in her holiday attire and wearing a wide brimmed hat stood beside her suitcase, impressed mark, height 11.5cm. (2)
Condition report
Both very dusty. The paintwork on the suitcase of the girl is uneven in its finish. It has also picked up kiln dust in the firing. Both pieces are crazed.
