A 19th Century eleven piece Coalport named dessert service comprising six 23.5cm plates titled The Drinking Place, On The Lledr, Tintern Abbey, The Meadow, Ben Eay Ross Shire, and Sporkenburgh Castle, two 29cm oval dishes titled Dovedale and A Mountain Valley, two 26.5cm round dishes titled The Tranquil Ouse and Loch Jay and one 25.5cm square dish titled Evening, all with hand painted cartouche panels within gilt borders against a dark blue ground, printed marks, S/D.
