A 19th Century oil lamp, the ovoid body in blue with a white Nailsea style pull thread with applied frosted matsu-no-ke flowers forming the handle with brass fittings supporting a matching blue shade with frilled edge, total height 25cm.
Condition report
Base - There is sign of a flower missing to the shoulder and there is a stress crack showing to the upper park of the handle where it meets the body.
Shade - There is one small shallow chip on the edge of the base of the shade and some nibbles but all not visible when in place on the gallery
Chimney - There are nibbles around the top and bottom of the chimney
