Lot 1047: Estimate £80-£120

A Third Pattern Fairbarn-Sykes (F-S) fighting knife, with a ribbed or ringed alloy grip, no maker's name but with broad arrow mark to the grip, with a 2 inch oval cross guard and a 7 inch blade, complete with a later replacement leather scabbard, overall length of the knife 29.5cm, S/D.

Condition report
Exact dimensions - length of blade 17.5cm, width of cross guard 5.2cm and overall length of the knife 29.5cm. Stamped with broad arrow mark. There is some light corrosion to the sides of the blade, but the edges of the blade and the tip are sharp. Corrosion to the cross guard. The steel pommel is corroded and has remnants of grey paint. The scabbard is later and has probably been taken from a different knife.
