A 1966 The Who concert ticket, from the Town Hall Torquay, 20th August, 1966, 9cm x 6cm. Provenance - From The Lionel Digby private collection. Lionel Digby was a music promoter in the 1960s and 1970s, in the South-West's music scene. His shows were legendary during this time with the likes of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Cream, The Who and many more legends of the period playing in his shows. He became a vital part of any musician’s career when playing in the Dance Halls and venues on the circuit.
Condition report
Excellent condition, very minor small crease above the double 'LL' of Hall. Printing still vibrant and ink has seeped through the the back.
It is possible that this ticket was unused and kept in the archive of Lionel Digby.
