A post war Volnay range teak dining suite, circa 1970, designed by John Herbert for A. Younger Ltd, comprising sideboard fitted with an arrangement of four central drawers flanked by a cabinet to either side, raised to tapered legs, bearing label, height 83cm, width 198cm and depth 48cm, together with a set of six chairs with woven cream coloured hopsack style upholstered seats and an extendable table of rectangular form, height 72cm, width 81cm and length 129cm when closed and 222cm when extended. (8) NB - The chairs in this lot are offered for sale as works of art. The seat pads may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling.

Condition report
Some minor scratches and dents to the sideboard commensurate with age and use. The sideboard has at some point been re-stained and polished. Some fading to the table top. Seat pads are OK to the chairs. The chairs in this lot are offered for sale as works of art. The seat pads may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling.
