An early 20th Century jar and cover modelled as a house impressed J.C Roper Bristol above the front door, impressed 1905 to the base, otherwise unmarked, height 24cm together with a small model of a giraffe with painted spots, height 11.5cm. (2)
Condition report
J.C Roper - some firing imperfections. Not entirely convinced the 1905 to the base equals the date, but certainly 1920s or 1930s. Several small firing imperfections, but otherwise in good order.
Royal Doulton - There is a hairline at 2 o'clock and visibble crazing with some darker lines, most noticeably at 10 o'clock.
Giraffe - good order
