A pair of Chinese blue and white vases of baluster form, rising to a high footring and rising from a spreading circular foot, the body of each with fan shaped panels filled with figures in formal gardens, surmounted by matched/later covers, four-character mark to base, height 31cm, S/D. (2)

Condition report
Both of the covers are later additions. Vase 1 Two hairline cracks running down the neck vertically, each approx. 3cm - 4cm in length. Shallow glaze chip to the cover. Firing crack to the finial. Vase 2 Firing crack extending vertically down the neck approx. 3cm in length. Cover has restored chip and chip to the rim with small chip to the dragon finial.
