A Chinese famille rose jar and cover, of baluster form surmounted by a domed rim cover, the body decorated with a series of tendrils issuing aster, chrysanthemum and lotus and Buddhistic emblems, before a blue and yellow ground, unmarked, height 44cm.
Condition report
Small losses to the enamel throughout.
Scuffing and wear to the underside of the footrim and cover.
Small chip to the very tip of the finial.
