A collection of late 19th Century E J D Bodley Aesthetic movement breakfast tea and tableware comprising a muffin dish and cover, various plates, two cups and saucers and a slop bowl, all decorated with bamboo, birds and cranes over a pink ground, the decoration in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser, diamond registration marks to most, S/D. Condition report
All have some rubbing to the decoration and gilding. Some patch crazing. Thereis a bruise or firing imperfection to the rim of one of the larger plates. There are several firing frits to the cup rims.
