BERNARD PEARSALL (B. 1923) - A King Charles Spaniel in a landscape, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1983, framed, 51cm x 61cm, frame size 57cm x 68cm, NB - Bernard Pearsall began painting in Dartmoor Prison whilst serving a ten year sentence. He painted scenes of prison life and fellow prisoners. An exhibition of the artist's work was held at the Upper Grosvenor Galleries, London in 1968.
Condition report
canvas may benefit from a light clean but otherwise in very good condition. Presented in a thin gilt frame
