A special edition Bernard Venables Aerial Centrepin fishing reel, numbered 29 of an edition of 100, made by Richard Carter of Traditional Angling, engraved and numbered 29 to the backplate, diameter 4.5 inch, and constructed from barstock aluminium with nickel silver and polished brass fittings with ratchet and brake mechanism, complete with glazed mahogany display case with green baize lining, certificate of authenticity signed by both Richard Carter and Bernard Venables and paperwork. Provenance - Purchased new by the current owner's uncle direct from Richard Carter of Traditional Angling during the 1990s.
Condition report
The reel is in excellent condition and appears to have had little to no use. The case is also in excellent condition.
