Estimate £60-£90

A pair of 19th Century mahogany hall chairs, the scallop scroll backs over plank seats and turned legs to the front, S/D (2)

Condition report
Some old repairs to the reverse of backs - the one chair has been heavily braced, dowelled and spliced at the top of the rear legs. The top of the back is also chipped and there are two cigarette type burn marks to the seat. The other chair has been re-dowelled to the rear of the seat and there are a number of glued block braces around the edges of the underside of the seat.
