Clarice Cliff - Inspiration Moon & Comets - A shape 380 double conical bowl circa 1930, with stepped circular base rising to a double flared conical bowl hand painted hand painted with an abstract band to the upper rim and feet with crescent and circular motifs in tonal blue, purple, pink and ochre over the tonal turquoise ground, full hand painted mark to the base, height 18cm, S/D.
Condition report
AMENDED CONDITION REPORT - The upper bowl has been broken right at the base where it joins internally to the lower bowl - This has been simply glued back in place and is an old repair. There is an old bruise/chip to the underside edge of the foot which has been glued back in, some glaze flaws to the interior in firing and some water stain.
