In the manner of Johannes Andersen for Christian Linneberg - A rosewood veneered dining table and six chairs, the table of oval form with two insert leaves and raised to stylised Y-shaped supports, extending to 272cm by 108cm (163cm when closed), bears 'Danish Furniture Makers Control' label, the chairs with pierced backs over tapered legs, unlabelled, S/D. NB - The chairs in this lot are offered for sale as works of art. They may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling.

Condition report
Both the chairs and the table are faded and there are scuffs and ring marks to the top of the table. There is a split across one of the rear stretchers of one of the chairs. The chairs have been re-covered with a grey cloth fabric that is fraying in places. The original red coloured fabric can been seen in places underneath, but the overall condition of this original fabric is unknown. Provenance - bought new circa 1958 by the present owners grandparents. Length of table when closed and not extended is 163cm.
