Lot 1416: Sold for £45 hammer

Estimate £500-£800

Lalique - An Atlantic console table, model no. 0012810, designed in 1998, the canted rectangular top inset to the border with eighteen frosted crystal glass panels of Lalique glass in the Raisin pattern, relief moulded with a running fruiting vine design, raised to a stepped square section leg with chrome capped feet, the top set with a mirror panel, beneath plate glass top, width 125cm, depth 42cm, height 90cm, S/D. Provenance - This table was formerly part of the display furniture for Lalique's flagship store on New Bond Street.

Condition report
Of the 18 glass panels two are cracked and another two have small chips to their top edges. The lacquer finish is in generally good order with some light knocks on raised areas and some minor age related wear. The mirror glass top is foxed to the front right hand corner. The glass panels are sunken in to the sides of the table - there are no signatures visible, but presumably if they are signed, it will be around the edges of the reverse of the panels.
