A 19th Century Minton cup and saucer decorated with transfer decorated and hand painted playing cards against a green ground with a gilt border, impressed mark with date cypher for circa 1876, saucer diameter 13.5cm.
Condition report
AMENDED CONDITION REPORT There is some fading / rubbing to the green ground and some minor wear to the gilding, both commensurate with age. There is a faint stained line to the body of the cup, it does not look to be a hairline but is visible under a bright light. The saucer has a craze to the rim edge.
