A collection of assorted early 19th Century H & R Daniel pieces comprising a shield shaped dish decorated with hand painted floral sprays, a footed bowl and three cups each decorated with botanical studies with a gilt pattern and burgundy border and two side plates with pink grape vine decoration, together with H & R Daniel by Michael Berthoud, Micawber Publications, 1980, S/D. Condition report
The shield dish has been restored and has now discoloured. The shallow cup has a staple repair to the handle and a break to the rim edge. One taller cup has a hairline which has two staple repairs. All have rubbing to the gilding.
