A collection of early 19th Century H & R Daniel teawares comprising a teapot of melon form raised to four acanthus leaf feet, three taller teacups, one breakfast cup, two bowl saucers, two shaped saucers and four side plates all decorated with hand painted cartouche panels with buildings and landscapes within pink roses and a gilt overlay pattern, all unmarked, no pattern number, S/D. Condition report
Teapot - star crack to the side and into the body, old repair to the spout. Hairline to the rim. One taller cup has a hairline with a crude repair. The shallow breakfast cup has a hairline. One taller cup has a break to the rim near the handle. Two saucers have hairlines. One of the side plates has a star crack. This side plate and one other have quite bad yellow staining. All have rubbing to the gilding.
