A pair of Chinese 19th Century Kangxi style vases, each of baluster form, rising to a flared rim, decorated in mirror image with underglazed blue enamels, depicting immortal figures and attendants in formal fenced gardens, with four-character Kangxi marks to base, height 21cm, S/D. (2)

Condition report
Vase 1 - Small chip to the rim, approx. 1cm x 1cm in size, visible fritting and scuffing and wear to the underside of footrim. Vase 2 - Two shallow and discoloured chips to the rim, each approx. 0.5cm in size, visible fritting and firing flaws to the glaze, hairline crack to the rim, approx. 1cm in size, small hairline crack to the footrim, with small associated chip.
