A Japanese Satsuma pottery figure of Ba Xian a Daoist immortal figure, Meiji Period (1868-1912), modelled wearing flowing robes and holding his symbolic attributes in both open hands, height 28cm, unmarked, together with a Japanese Satsuma bowl, height 10cm, diameter 25cm. (2)
Condition report
Figure - Several firing cracks visible throughout, small glaze chips to the finger tips, small chip to the edge of the sleeve, loss to gilt and enamel throughout.
Bowl - light crazing and wear to the gilt throughout.
