A late 19th Century French centre table or bureau plat of oval cartouche outline, with decorative gilt metal mounts, the top with later painted paper simulated boulle work centre within an ebonised border, raised to a later black painted apron and cabriole legs and fitted with a single frieze drawer, height 76cm, width 150cm and depth 88cm, S/D.

Condition report
The top is inset with paper with later painted stencilled detail. The gilt metal border to the top has detached in places but is intact. The apron and the legs have ben painted black at a later date. Silhouettes of former decorative panel detail can be seen to the apron. All gilt metal mask mounts appear to be present.
