William Moorcroft - James Macintyre & Co - An early 20th Century Florian ware biscuit barrel with silver plated fittings decorated in the Yellow Poppy pattern with blue and yellow flowers against a white ground, Moorcroft Museum label to the base, printed mark over signed W.M des, height 17.5cm (including finial, excluding handle).
Condition report
Crazed. The plate has all but worn away so gives a yellow hue, it is otherwise in good order. There is some interior kiln dust pick-up and later pink marks.
